Misato Nursing School Affiliated to Dokkyo

Message from the Head of the Principal, Misato Nursing School Affiliated to Dokkyo

Our school which opened in Misato City, Saitama Prefecture in 2015 is the newest part of Dokkyo Medical University.
As a major feature of curriculum, we have incorporated project base learning, allowing the students to acquire the ability to discover and solve problems on their own and a mindset of independent learning.
Also, through group learning, we teach the importance of collaboration and the relationship of trust with colleagues through discussions while touching on diverse values.
The practical training we provide through affiliated hospital, home-visit nursing stations and facilities inside and outside the neighborhood that are closely related to the community help the students grow significantly   so that they can practice nursing creatively while thinking and looking back on their own.
