Campus
Our university is located very close to the Omocha-no-machi Station of the Tobu-Utsunomiya Line. It is situated on level ground gifted with a landscape full of greenery and wide spaces (close to 300,000 sq. meters). Within the campus is the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, the Affiliated Nursing School as well as the University Hospital. Also, within the same premises are the library, the student cafeteria, an auditorium, gymnasium, training field, and facilities necessary for the student's daily life, we are surrounded by a naturally beautiful green environment as well as streets lined with Sakura and Gingko trees each colorful during the seasonal changes. Within the campus are located the dormitories for female students as well as residents, the all-electric dormitories Sakura and Icho which were completed in September of 2016 are used by the staff (primarily for nursing, including nursing students, faculty et al (500 rooms in all)). Regarding parking, there are about 3,000 spaces for faculty, staff, and students and another 1,300 spaces available for hospital outpatients. In addition to this, within our campus, we have some very distinctive facilities including a heliport for a Doctor Heli and a multi-purpose function, expandable seismic-proof Medical & Education Building (12 floors) which was completed in April of 2017.
