Characteristics of the section

The Neurosurgery Department carries out 500 surgical procedures per year. Another characteristic of our medical facility is the 200 endovascular surgeries carried out per year making us a leading facility for endovascular treatments in Japan. Designated as the key regional hospital for acute cerebral infarction treatments, a large number of acute revascularization treatments are carried out at our hospital. With a hybrid operating room equipped with the latest angiography equipment along with an angiography procedure room with the same level of function, we are able to offer advanced endovascular treatments.
