Endoscopy Center

Head of the Center: Yasumi Katayama MD, PhD

Message from the Head of Center

Our endoscopy center has both a gastrointestinal and a respiratory endoscopy department. It is used by many departments, including gastroenterology, respiratory medicine, surgery, pediatric surgery, chest surgery, general medicine, and emergency medicine. The new center opened in March 2020, and the number of examination rooms has increased from three to six. As a result, endoscopy and treatment, the needs of which are increasing year-by-year, can now be performed more smoothly. We are continuously striving to meet the needs of the community.
