Head of the Office: Taku Aoki, MD, PhD

Message from the Head of the Office

The focuses of our department are hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery and general surgery, and we are now widely developing clinical and research activities associated with these fields. We are proud of prominent surgical operations in liver resection, pancreas resection, and liver transplantation; and based on the experience, we have conducted many cohort studies, clinical trials, and basic research. We exert ourselves to convince the students of the attractiveness of surgery, especially of hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery, and hope the students to collaborate lively with us in the future.
