Message from the Chairman

It is a pleasure to welcome you to our Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at DMU Nikko Medical Center. I was honored to be named the new Chairman of the Department when Dokkyo Medical University Hospital first opened its DMU Nikko Medical Center in April 2006. Ever since, our physicians and specialists strive to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care; including the bones, joints, cartilages and nerves, that is of the highest quality to all our patients. We offer advanced treatment for the spectrum of orthopaedic conditions, from ankle sprains, hip, knee, hand or bone cancer surgeries. We also bring together a unique team of physicians, physical therapists and specialists to collaboratively provide the best possible medical care for orthopaedic injuries and illnesses. Our patient-centered care has always been the symbol of our department and I am proud of the members of our faculty and staff who continue that tradition today.
