     Welcome to the homepage of the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
      Our department provides a variety of organized educational programs of clinical anesthesia, pain medicine, palliative care medicine and oriental herbal medicine (“Kampo medicine”) for medical students and residents. In clinical practice, we provide adequate and high-quality management of clinical anesthesia including neuro anesthesia, cardiovascular anesthesia or anesthetic management of organ transplantation. Additionally, we also provide the cancer and non-cancer pain management with various analgesics and/or interventional therapy such as neural blockade or surgical procedures.
      Our research works are based on advanced clinical anesthesia and pain medicine in these fields, and these results have a potential to influence the surgical treatment strategies or pain management.
